Client Overview:
The NHS Workforce in South West London (SWL) has dedicated itself to prioritizing wellbeing and wellness. Recognising the importance of self-care and relaxation, NHS SWL has championed initiatives aimed at promoting wellness among its workforce. Otium+ emerges as one such initiative, aiming to infuse play and fun into the realm of wellbeing, fostering a sense of joy and rejuvenation among healthcare professionals.
Objectives:
Integrating play into wellness: Otium+ seeks to integrate playfulness into the concept of wellness, encouraging healthcare professionals to embrace the joy and vitality derived from playful activities.
Educational escapism: Through a series of fun and educational activities, Otium+ aims to provide healthcare professionals with a temporary escape from the rigors of their work, promoting relaxation and stress relief.
Fundraising for Charity: In addition to promoting wellness, Otium+ aims to raise funds for two charitable organisations, further contributing to the betterment of society.
Strategy:
Concept Development: Our team collaborated with the NHS Workforce in SWL to conceptualize Otium+ as an afternoon of "funtivities" aimed at promoting wellbeing through playful experiences.
Brand Creation: We developed the brand identity for Otium+, capturing the essence of playfulness and wellness in the logo, colour palette, and visual elements.
Pitch Documents: We created compelling pitch documents were created to communicate the vision, objectives, and value proposition of Otium+ to potential sponsors, partners, and participants.
Website Development: A dedicated website has been designed and developed to serve as the central hub for information, registration, and updates regarding Otium+ which is set to launch mid 2024.
Event Curation: Our team will support the curation of a diverse range of activities, workshops, and experiences to ensure that Otium+ offered something for everyone, from interactive games to mindfulness sessions.
Execution:
Brand Rollout: The brand identity for Otium+ will be rolled out across all touchpoints, including promotional materials, social media channels, and the event venue itself, creating a cohesive and immersive experience.
Website Launch: The dedicated website for Otium+ is due to be launched mid 2024, providing attendees with easy access to event details, registration forms, and donation options, while also serving as a platform for post-event engagement and feedback.
Event Day Management: On the day of the event, our team will oversee all aspects of event management, from setup and logistics to participant engagement and fundraising activities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
Results:
Successful Fundraising: Otium+ is well on track with its fundraising goals, with contributions from participants, sponsors, and partners helping to raise significant funds for the designated charities.
Community Engagement: The event has fostered a sense of community thus far among healthcare professionals in SWL, bringing together individuals from different departments and specialties to bond over shared experiences and interests.
